لماذا إسبانيا؟

Spain is sunny, affordable, and culturally rich, with 320 sunny days a year on most of the peninsula. Cost of living is 35-50% lower than Northern Europe. Universal healthcare is highly rated; private supplemental insurance is affordable.

English is widely spoken in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, and the Costa del Sol expat hubs. Spanish opens up the rest of the country fast - it's the easiest major European language for English speakers.

الطريق الأسرع: Digital Nomad

Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (DNV), launched in 2023, has become the most popular fast route. It targets remote workers and freelancers earning at least EUR 2,762/month from foreign clients/employers.

  1. Confirm at least 3 months' employment or freelance contract history with a foreign company.
  2. Gather proof of monthly income at or above EUR 2,762 (or pension/savings equivalent).
  3. Apply at Spanish consulate (1-year visa) or in Spain (3-year residence permit, recommended).
  4. Submit: police certificate, health insurance, Modelo EX-49 form, social security certificate.
  5. Decision in 2-4 weeks. Approval grants 3-year residence permit, renewable 2 years, then PR at 5 years.

The DNV qualifies you for the Beckham Law - flat 24% tax on Spanish-source income up to EUR 600,000 for 6 years. Massive saving vs progressive rates up to 47%.
