Cómo funcionan realmente las decisiones de visado del Reino Unido
Los decisores de UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) aplican las Immigration Rules, en particular la Parte V para visitantes y las normas Worker para visados de trabajo patrocinados. Las dos pruebas que debe pasar todo solicitante son la de "visitante genuino / trabajador genuino" (¿hará lo que dice y se irá cuando dice?) y la de "fondos de manutención" (¿puede sostenerse en el Reino Unido sin recurrir a fondos públicos?).
Una carta de presentación bien escrita ayuda al tramitador exponiendo la respuesta a ambas pruebas en un solo lugar, en lugar de reconstruirla a partir de extractos bancarios y formularios. Para nacionalidades con tasas de denegación por encima de la media (Nigeria, Pakistán, Bangladés, Ghana, Sri Lanka), la carta no cambia las reglas, pero mejora materialmente la probabilidad de aprobación.

La lista completa se publica en gov.uk/tb-test-visa. En 2026 incluye gran parte del sur y sudeste asiático, mucha África, partes de Sudamérica y la antigua URSS. Mencione su certificado en la carta junto con la fecha y la clínica emisora.
