Qué debe contener la carta del empleador
La carta del empleador es el documento más comprobado en cualquier solicitud de visado de una persona empleada. Los funcionarios consulares la comparan con sus nóminas, sus extractos bancarios, su formulario de solicitud y (en algunos casos) verifican por teléfono con RR. HH. Cualquier inconsistencia o ausencia mata el expediente.
- Impresa en papel oficial con membrete de la empresa: logotipo completo, razón social, dirección, número de registro o fiscal. Sin membrete = sospecha automática.
- Nombre completo legal del empleado (que coincida con el pasaporte), número de empleado, puesto y fecha de incorporación al puesto.
- Salario bruto anual en moneda local. Opcionalmente también el neto mensual o el bruto mensual.
- Fechas de permiso aprobadas exactas, no "aproximadamente dos semanas", sino "del 4 de septiembre de 2026 al 18 de septiembre de 2026 inclusive".
- Una declaración clara de que el empleado regresará al trabajo en una fecha concreta y que se mantiene su puesto.
- Datos de contacto de RR. HH. para verificación: nombre, teléfono, correo y cargo del firmante.
- Firma de su puño en tinta azul o negra + sello/cuño de la empresa (la mayoría de embajadas esperan ambos).
- Fecha de emisión: dentro de los 30 días previos a la cita del visado.
Un "membrete" creado en Microsoft Word la noche anterior delata el truco. Use la papelería real de su empresa, con logotipo, dirección registrada, teléfono y número fiscal/de registro impresos en la parte superior, no pegados como imagen.

¿Qué hacer si no tiene empleador?
- Autónomo / freelancer: redacte su propia carta en el membrete de su negocio; adjunte el registro, las declaraciones fiscales de los 2 últimos años y los contratos recientes con clientes.
- Jubilado: redacte una carta de presentación personal explicando la jubilación, adjunte extractos de pensión (últimos 3 meses) y cualquier estado de ingresos por alquiler/dividendos.
- Estudiante: pida a su universidad que emita una carta de matrícula en papel oficial: fecha de admisión, programa, graduación prevista, fechas del curso y estado de las tasas.
- Desempleado: aporte un perfil financiero más sólido (ahorros + activos + propiedad) y una carta de patrocinio de un familiar. Sea honesto sobre su situación laboral; mentir sobre un empleador ficticio es la ruta más rápida al rechazo.
- Ama/o de casa: explique la situación familiar en la carta de presentación; el cónyuge se convierte en patrocinador con documentación financiera completa.
