Lettre de garant vs lettre d'invitation
Une lettre de garant est rédigée par la personne qui paye votre voyage. Elle déclare la relation, l'engagement financier, l'origine des fonds et précisément quelles dépenses le garant couvrira. Elle est différente de - bien que souvent combinée à - une lettre d'invitation, qui déclare l'hébergement plutôt que l'argent.
Si votre père vous accueille et paye votre voyage, il rédige une seule lettre combinée qui couvre les deux. Si votre père paye mais que vous séjournez à l'hôtel, il rédige uniquement une lettre de garant. Si votre sœur vous accueille mais que vous payez vous-même, elle rédige uniquement une lettre d'invitation.

Si un dépôt important est authentique (vente immobilière, prime de fin d'année, héritage), incluez les documents qui l'expliquent : acte de vente, lettre de prime de l'employeur, document de succession. N'essayez pas de dissimuler le dépôt en le transférant via plusieurs comptes - les agents comparent les relevés entre comptes.
Si le solde habituel du garant est faible et qu'un proche lui a « prêté » de l'argent pour la demande, cela est également signalé. Les lettres de garant doivent reposer sur la capacité financière démontrable du garant lui-même, pas sur des fonds empruntés pour l'occasion.
