Comment fonctionnent réellement les décisions de visa UK
UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) applique les règles d'immigration, en particulier la partie V pour les visiteurs et les règles Worker pour les visas de travail parrainés. Les deux tests que chaque demandeur doit passer sont le test du « visiteur authentique / travailleur authentique » (ferez-vous ce que vous dites et partirez-vous quand vous le dites ?) et le test des « fonds d'entretien » (pouvez-vous subvenir à vos besoins au UK sans recours aux fonds publics ?).
Une lettre de motivation bien rédigée aide l'examinateur en exposant la réponse aux deux tests en un seul endroit, plutôt que de la reconstruire à partir des relevés bancaires et des formulaires. Pour les nationalités à taux de refus supérieur à la moyenne (Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, Sri Lanka), la lettre de motivation ne change pas les règles mais améliore matériellement les chances d'approbation.
